Moving Meditation
(Lesson 1)
Moving meditation movements are time proven Traditional Martial Arts techniques that are known to strengthen and balance one’s internal and external condition.
This video lesson contains seven movements and techniques. Once you have learned the movements, you can practice along with the video and eventually practice on your own. While learning the movements, it may be helpful to use the chapter links (red dots) on the video play bar to quickly jump to certain sections.
The movements in the video are:
- Stand in Stillness
- Throw to East and Bend to West
- Serve the Teacups
- Sun and Moon Twist
- Water Mill / Empty the Vase
- Heaven and Earth Energy Ball Sequence
- Embrace the Tree Meditation
You can practice at any time of the day, and as often as you like. Once you have learned the Lesson 1 movements, we recommend practicing at least 3 times per week. There are no pre-requisites for Moving Meditation Lesson 1. To help students of all ages and skill levels learn the movements, each technique is demonstrated at a beginning student level in the video.
